Ferrell Farms has Yellow Squash and Yukon Gold potatoes for sale this week. I love the buttery taste of yellow potatoes, they are my favorites.

Crow Mountain Orchard is out of Asian Pears, but still has several varieties of apples available.

Green Door Gourmet has cucumbers back on the market and has added radishes and acorn squash this week.

We have red and gold delicious apples available from Crow mtn orchard in addition to the previous varieties.

Good Morning from the South Cumberland Food Hub.

This week we have lots of tomatoes, garlic, squashes, onions, and apples. Crow Mountain Orchard just added Jonagolds which are a cross between the popular Jonathon and Golden Delicious. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but they are deliciously sweet and crispy.

Okra, watermelons and cantaloupes are available from the Mennonites and we also have sweet corn from Ferrell farm. That may not last much longer so get it while you can.

You can pick up some tomatoes for canning from White City Produce if you’re feeling ambitious with your extra time. It’s a great way to extend the local food season for your future recipes.

Organic Melons!

Good Morning from the South Cumberland Food Hub.
Old Dunlap Produce has organic watermelon and cantaloupe on the market this week, as well as organic onions, non GMO sweet corn,(actually all of their produce is non GMO),green and red bell peppers, green beans and okra.

White City produce has some pretty concord grapes available.

Solace Farm has loads of delicious organically grown garlic and

Green Door Gourmet has organic slicing tomatoes, regulars and seconds for canning.

Browns Hollar is out of eggs for a couple more weeks, this is the molting time for laying hens and they really drop in production. They should be back on the market soon.

Crow Mountain Orchard has their delicious Honeycrisp apples this week and the Ozark Golds and Pippins are in as well. Peaches and grapes are still available as well, although the green grapes are sold out.
